Cirque du Soleil-inspired Olympic swim team

The Olympic Games in London are in full swing now.

I watched the synchronized swimming events some nights ago and it was amazing to watch some of these synchronized swimming routines. In the Free Routine competition especially, there were routines with both technically difficult movements and beautiful choreography.

For example, Canada put up a lovely free routine that seemed to me inspired by Cirque du Soleil. Their costumes and headgear were straight out from that world-renowned theatre circus and their circus-themed routine was delightful to watch.
