Epic high-wire walks set new records
On Sunday, 2 November 2014, Nik Wallenda accomplished, not one but two, record-breaking high-wire walks over Chicago. The daredevil performer, of the famous Flying Wallendas family, walked on tightropes suspended at least 500 feet above the ground.
As if the first inclined tightrope walk wasn't enough, the second tightrope walk was done by Nik blindfolded. Both times, Nik did not use any safety net or harness.
